FAQ
Ellerslie is a family-friendly community and we want to meet you wherever you are in your spiritual journey. Whether you're looking for answers, joining a group, or need the hope of Jesus, this is a place where lives are changed.
What happens in the adult service?
We have two services for you to enjoy! Every week you can join us in the West Court for contemporary worship (Renew) or in the Main Auditorium for a more traditional gathering (Traditions). After the singing, we have thoughtful Bible teaching - all in about 75 minutes.
Is there something for kids?
Sure is! We have a vibrant children's ministry that runs parallel to our main worship services. Nursery workers care for babies 0-24 months; trained volunteers lead Bible lessons, games and snacks for pre-schoolers; skilled teachers lead both big and small group discovery of God's big story, along with singing and conversation for elementary students.
What if I'm not sure about Jesus?
Perfect. That's why you're here. You can explore Jesus at your own pace - through Sunday morning worship, Alpha, or joining a group.
What does it mean to consider yourself a christian?
Being a Christian isn't as much about church as it is about meeting Jesus. A good church is a place that facilitates knowing and following Jesus... imitating him and bringing him into life.
Do I need to dress up?
Nope. We like you just the way you are.
